Lake 2

Louisville State Recreation Area is located off Highway 50 at Louisville, NE alongside the Platte River. Lake 2 has a designated swimming area and beach. Normally scuba divers are required to stay at least 200 ft. away from swimming areas however divers may enter the water to the right of the beach area as per one of the park rangers. A dive flag float is required. Fish sightings in the lake have included lots of catfish, blue gill, crappie, largemouth and smallmouth bass, and carp. Visibility has been up to 10-15 ft.
